Vanessa Place @ Paris Est Marne-la-Vallée, September 29 & 30

We are looking forward to Vanessa Place's visit for a 2 day symposium on her work, on writing & criticism. Bibliographic information with a summer reading list at the end of this post.

The September symposium will take place at Université Paris Est Marne-La-Vallée, from 10am to 6pm on Sept. 29 & 30.

Program:
Thurs. Sept. 29, 10am-12:30pm: preparatory session & discussion with all colleagues involved.
Thurs. Sept. 29, 2:30pm-6pm: introductory talk by Vanessa Place & subsequent conversation about her work.
Fri. Sept. 30, 10am-12:30pm : "thinkership" & "writership" (1). Discussion with Vanessa Place about the theory and practice of writing; bridging the crit./lit. divide?
Fri. Sept. 30, 2:30pm-5pm : "thinkership" & "writership" (2) and conclusion of the 2 day symposium.


On Friday September 30th, 7pm, Vanessa Place and Emilie Notéris will give a reading for the Double Change reading series at the Point Ephémère, in Paris.
